Reservation policies
Rooms 101-104, 106-109, 111-114, 240, 340
- Reservations are limited to 4 hours total per person, per room, per seven day period.
- A reservation can be made up to 14 days in advance.
- A group that is more than 15 minutes late forfeits the reservation.
- Rooms are intended primarily for group use. Individuals can reserve a study room when they need a more private space to practice a presentation or participate in an online discussion.
- Although the rooms are a more private space, they are not sound proof. Please keep the noise down so as not to disturb others.
- Food and/or drink are allowed provided that the food or drink are not messy. Clean up the room before you leave so that it is ready for the next group.
- Rooms are only available during hours the library is open.
- If you would like to make a reservation that repeats throughout a semester, please submit that request online or contact the library directly.
- Groups not associated with the University should contact the library for information on getting access to these rooms.
Additional policies for Room 240 and 340
- Library-related programs and meetings have priority use of the rooms.
- The rooms are not available as substitutes for assigned classroom space.
- Requests for any extended use of these rooms, such as a full day event, will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the library director.
