Building Accessibility
- Entrance on Babcock Drive (east side of building) has a power door with buttons for automatically opening doors.
- All floors are accessible by elevator.
- Accessible restrooms are located on second floor (entrance level) and fourth floor.
- Assistance retrieving stack materials may be requested at the Circulation Desk on second floor (entrance level).

Lot 36 Metered Parking
A limited number of meters are on the top level of the Lot 36 parking ramp adjacent to the library building on Observatory Drive. The meters have a maximum available time of 2 hours. Steenbock Library does not have a change machine.

- Enforced 5 am - 12 midnight, Monday-Friday
- UW-Madison students and staff
- Enforced 4:30 pm - 7 am
- Parking restrictions apply to this lot on UW Football Saturdays. Consult the complete list of events and affected lots.
- A fee is charged upon entry to the lot
- All-day and half-day parking permits may be purchased for a limited number of lots at the Transportation Services Office located in Room 124 of the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) building at 610 Walnut Street. The office is open 7:15 A.M. - 4:30 P.M, Monday - Friday.
