By using the Cited Reference search feature you can follow the experts to find recent developments, responses, and even retractions. A cited reference search allows you to find all the papers that have cited a specific author or article. Let's say you searched Medline and you found a great paper on alternative medicine by an expert in the field. You can use Web Of Science to find other authors who cited that specific author or article in their subsequent work. Even though Web of Science covers the years 1982 to present, with Cited Reference searching you can track a cited paper no matter how long ago it was written.
