Thousands of clip art images of foods plus links to other sites that have food clip-art images. Make sure you read any terms of use notices and get permission when needed. In most cases you are allowed to use the images for personal use but not for commercial use.

Foodborne Illness/Bad Bug Book provides basic facts regarding foodborne pathogenic microorganisms and natural toxins. Food Labeling and Nutrition, How to interact with CFSAN, materials for educators (under Special Interest Areas) are also useful. From the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Dole 5 A Day - Nutrition Education for Kids
Encouraging people to eat 5 fruits and vegetable servings a day is the purpose of this site. Reference Center has nutrition information on fruits and vegetables, Check out the Kids' Site has history and interesting facts about fruits and vegetables, as well as a Kids Cookbook. Teachers shows how teachers have implemented the 5 a Day program into their classroom teaching. Although illustrations and materials are super appealing, they're copyrighted so make sure you get permission before using.

Michigan Team Nutrition Booklist.
This book list contains short, one-paragraph annotations for over 300 books about food, healthy eating, and physical activity for children in pre-school through third grade. A 23-page, Search-By-Theme cross-reference section allows the user to search for books related to a specific theme.
