Artwork in the building

Second Floor Images

The series of large-format nature images located on the north and northeast walls were purchased from a business called Millennium Murals located in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. We worked with local fine artist Peggy Flora Zalucha. The images were selected from a subscription-based photo archive of royalty-free images called Photos.com. Inspiration for the project came from an April 21, 2003 article about mural installations at the UW Hospital. [To view the article, search the title ("Off the wall: commercial work gives artist a chance to branch out") in the Wisconsin State Journal (via Lexis Nexis Academic)]
